Originally the site of a tavern and hotel, this corner site has been developed to provide for both commercial and retail spaces. Being in a conservation area, the design called for an architectural language that was appropriate, whilst offering an abundance of natural light and contemporary facilities. By locating the core in the north-east corner of the site, appropriate setbacks from the windows of an adjoining commercial building were achieved.
